What is Roundtable?

What is Round Table?

Our registered charity Billericay Round Table is predominantly a social club for young men aged between 18 and 45.

Through local events we raise money which we donate to local good causes and projects. Every month we have a meeting where we discuss formal things like how events are going and updates on some of biggest events, such as the Billericay Fireworks.

We also vote on donations to the local community and people who need them. Over the course of the year we organise a number of events such as The Billericay Fireworks. It often takes months of planning and preparation and a lot of hard work from all parties concerned.

Doing more is what we pride ourselves on, going out of our way to make sure events we hold are beyond what is expected and helping out where we can. We are all different and possess different skills which make being part of the Round Table an even better place to be. event and one that brings in the most money that we donate over the course of the year. This event normally takes over a year (in effect by the time we put on the fireworks one year we have already started planning out the next year’s event) of planning and preparation and a lot of hard work from all parties concerned.

It’s rewarding, and gets you opportunities to do things you wouldn’t ordinarily do. When in your day-to-day life would you get the opportunity to organise a fireworks event for over 10,000 people? Want to find out more? Find us on Facebook or via our website at Billericayroundtable.co.uk.
