Frequently Asked Questions
and Terms and conditions
Q. Where’s the best place to park?
A. Due to storm Ciarán, our usual parking at sun corner is unavailable. You’ll need to find parking on the local streets and walk in.
Q. Is there Blue Badge Parking available?
A. We do have a blue badge area by the swimming pool with a (limited) separate viewing area for wheelchairs and/or other apparatus. However, due to the volume of people, you may not be able to vacate the park for up to an hour after the fireworks have finished (between 8.45-9pm) due to the restrictions of people safety imposed upon us of the event. Alternatively, you may be able to park at the train station car park if that’s not too inconvenient, but the numbers are very restricted there.
Q. What if it rains?
The show must go on! Unless there are exceptionally high winds, there WILL be a display. Please note, our refund policy below, there will be no refunds for poor weather.
Q. Can I get a refund?
A. Life happens, and things always seem to throw a spanner into works and we will try to work with you. We will issue refunds three days before the event occurs. By that point, we have lots of outgoings and commitments we need to make based on the numbers we have at that point. At the very least, you’ll be in good mind that your money is going to a charity who directly supports your local community. There will be no refunds for poor weather.
Q. When is the last time I can buy tickets? Can I buy more ticket?
A. You certainly can! We do have a limited number this year, to make sure everyone has a great time, but you’ll be able to buy tickets right up until 7.30pm on the date through our website, so long as there are tickets available (Remember, we sold out last year!)
